what should you do to write a good thesis statement?

A thesis statement is your idea...So try to state your idea in 1 or 2 sentences, and this comes after your hook (Hook obviously has to be on your topic)

Or the topic you're talking about. Such as if you had an assignment based on cats you'd write "Years ago, the cat population went hectic, but some studies show it decreasing now"
