Assume that the given statements are true. What conclusion, if any, can be drawn from these premises? a → b and a → c A)c → b C)b → a B)b → c D)No conclusion can be drawn.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

nothing

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

if a is a horse then a has 4 legs if b is a dog then b has a tail having a tail does not imply something is four legs (c does not imply b) and vice verse.(b does not imply c) finally having 4 legs does not imply that it is a horse (b does not imply a)

xD good point

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

when trying to figure these things out, just try a few examples... IF its a horse, THEN it has 4 legs this is a good example.
