You are researching the pros and cons of music sharing over the Internet. You find a government report with an income graph. It shows average incomes for musicians from the sales of their recordings from 1950-1990. This source is: (A)A primary source (B)A secondary source

Interesting question. In fact I'm not sure. @wolfe8 might be able to help you.

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

First, what are the definitions of primary source and secondary source?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@me or @the person who asked the question

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Anyone who wants to help lol. I'll give a medal :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A PRIMARY SOURCE is straight from the source's mouth.

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

And secondary?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol primary is like an original work whereas secondary is presenting info discussed elsewhere

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a secondary source is a document or recording that relates or discusses information originally presented elsewhere. ...

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Hmm. Well, according to http://www.libraries.iub.edu/?pageId=1002226 it sounds like primary. What do you think? It's direct from the musicians, but it's in the form of mean. I would personally go for primary.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Me too.
