The world population (in 2009) was 6.72 billion people and growing at 1.14% per year what will the world population be in the year 2026?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6.72billion times .0114 would give you the number of added people per year so multiply that by 17 years of growth and you would get 6.72billion times .0114 times 17 to get the total growth and than ad that number back to the 6.72 billion to get the total population

and to sum it all up that equals 8022340 people
