ANSWER GETS MEDAL! If an unbalanced force acts upon a moving object, what changes can be expected in the object's motion?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When an object undergoing a uniform motion is acted upon by an unbalanced force, it will experience an acceleration which is proportional to the force and inversely proportional to its mass. This is explained by the Newton's second law.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or An object will continue to travel at constant speed unless acted on by an unbalanced force, and for every force acted on there is an equal opposite reaction in the other way. So the speed and direction of the object will be changed. The solution would be F=MA force=mass*acceleration

Thank you! :)
