I need help What are the factors of f(x)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's the equation? It's a bit hard to know what the problem is without that.

I know they did not give a me equation. that is why i need help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they jsut gave me f(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait I found the equation f(x) = x3 + 5x2 - x - 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Start by finding a value of x that equals 0. X=1 makes the equation equal to 0 so one factor is x-1. Now divide the original equation by x-1. This gives us x^2+6x+5. The factors of that equation are x+1 and x+5.
