Think about his actions towards others, such as his employee and people on the street. Does he act harshly to them?

Right. And he's painfully frugal. If it weren't for the Ghosts of Christmas (past, present, future) He would've made his ONLY employee work on Christmas. He's rude and pessimistic and he has no sense of humor. I mean, c'mon HUMOR is essential to making good friends and it puts a smile on your face.
