your answer is 72 . PEMDAS
I got 111
5(9+6) + 36 so 9+6=15 and 15 times 5 = 75 plus 36 equals 111
5((3) 2 +y)+(6)2 5(6+6) 5(12) +12 60+12 72
i think she meant x square and y squared and not x times 2 and y times 2... but I'm not sure

Not sure if thats the case then you are probably right. I calculated it like a 2
