Algebra I HELP?! Medal, Fan, Testimonial?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Give me a minute to work it out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. :}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x - 8 > 8 and 4x + 8 > 8 are going to be the two equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you solve those?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll try. 4x - 8 > 8 +8 +8 ---------- 4x >16 -- --- 4 4 x > 4 Let me solve the other one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x + 8 > 8 - 8 - 8 ----------- 4x > 0 -- -- 4 4 x > 0 Okay. Two open circles and they are both going to the right, but I can't find one like that... @courter98

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have to put the two equations together. So you will get 4x - 8 > 8 < 4x + 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh so now they are in between. Okay. So I am thinking A, correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@courter98

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That would be my answer. But please let me know if I am wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay.
