I have a basic understanding of Algebra and Trigonometry but I am not familiar with calculus.

Is this course calculus based?

Prerequisites
Physics I is a first-year, first-semester course at MIT. Students usually take this course at the same time as 18.01 Single Variable Calculus.
So you do need calculus but you could learn what you need as you do the course.

Srsly?! do 12 year olds usually do this then? because this Physics 1 class is particular easy.....................
