Ramona is driving to Seattle, and she is 96 miles away. She wants to arrive in 1.5 hours. What rate of speed will she have to maintain to arrive in that time?

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

\[Speed~~or~~Rate = \frac{Distance}{Time}\] So distance = 96 miles time = 1.5 hours. Then speed = 96/1.5 miles per hour. Understood? :)
