May I please have some help w/ this question?

Post it, I will see what i can do.

Which of the following statements best describes the graph of x + y = 5? It is a line joining the points whose x and y coordinates add up to 10. It is a line joining the points whose x and y coordinates add up to 5. It is a line which intersects the x axis at (5, 5). It is a line which intersects the y axis at (5, 5).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I believe this is in standard form. In order to find out what that five is, you need to convert to y-intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so, y = -x + 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep! That means that the y intercept is 5 :)

Beyond that, I can't help you. It must have been in a lesson of yours if you are online schooled

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, that's what I thought, so the answer is (drum roll)...B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, I am...dang thanks for the help anyway.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya know, possibly, but I couldn't tell ya for sure. Sorry
