sorry I should have told you how to do it first. lol. You have to ask yourself how many times 3 goes into 31 without passing it. You say 10 times because 10x3 is 30. You can go any higher. So 10 is your whole number Then your remainder, the 1, turns into your new numerator. The denominator stays the same.
