Hope you won't mind, but I'd like for you to type out the formula for slope, so that I know you know it. Otherwise, please look it up, and then we'll move forward.

ILD: Thanks. B ut that equation is the equation of a straight line when the slope (m) and y-intercept (b) are given. If youhave a textbook available, mind looking up "slope of a straight line"? If not, mind doing an Internet search for the same topic? The more you can research stuff like this, the easier your homework will be.

OpenStudy (tester97):

yup^^

A ?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Why avoid the inevitable? If you really want to understand this topic, you'll need to know the slope of a straight line as calculated from the two given points. Good luck! Regards to David.
