When researchers compare qualitative data, such as the behavior of each deer in a herd at each hour of a day, what do they most likely use to organize the data? a pie graph a bar graph a line graph a data table

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

I'd say a data table, that way they are able to keep track of the different behaviors.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

qualitative data cannot be really described in for of a graph. In fact graph IS qualitative data in itself.

Maybe this might help: http://i.imgur.com/5s82v.jpg Thinking someone is beautiful is a behavior. I think the chart can also be done such that it shows what each person in a group does.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok let me rephrase myself =) qualitative data cannot be effectively described by graphs. You either end up with too many bars, or you end up showing quantitative data instead (frequencies of specific behaviors)
