first one is a verb. if you use dictionary.com it will tell you which word is a verb or participle.

I am really sorry i think its all participle. the reason i say that because participle meaning is The two main types of participles are the present participle (ending ing) and the past participle (usually ending -ed, -d, -t, -en, or -n).
