Why are water molecules so atracted to eachother?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because of cohesion (meaning the sticking together of particles of the same substance).

OpenStudy (joemc):

What do you know about the intermolecular forces between water molecules?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because of the intermolecular forces between oxygen on one molecule of water and hydrogen on another molecule of water. Therefore hydrogen bonds are formed between them which makes it attracted to each other.
