Given a polynomial function f(x), describe the effects on the y-intercept, regions where the graph is increasing and decreasing, and the end behavior when the following changes are made. Make sure to account for even and odd functions. When f(x) becomes f(x) − 1 When f(x) becomes −f(x) + 1 This is the last question I have on my midterm that is due at 12 AM eastern time and I do not know how to do it. Someone please help me

well if you has a graphics calculator... you could pick a function... and see what happens
I've graphed it and I have only noticed a change in how the parabola moves but it asks to describe the effects on the y-intercept, regions where the graph is increasing and decreasing, and the end behavior when the following changes are made @campbell_st
well, you need to describe it... as its your mid term... not mine... good luck...
@texaschic101 Can you help me, I am asking for help not the answer like others seem to think
@campbell_st Thanks for all your help lol
