The function f(x) = x^2. The graph of g(x) is f(x) translated to the right 3 units and down 3 units. What is the function rule for g(x)?

@wolf1728 Could you please help me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

g(x) = (x-3)^2 - 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to know how to do it, but thank you either way.

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Here's the f(x) graphic. I'll post the g(x) graphic whenever I can get MS Paint to work. Currently MS Paint has reverted into a totally useless, non-working piece of ^*&^R%$%%^$#$#*(*((&&%^% !!!

Ah! Thank you!

I've got another question, so I'm going to open another one. Thank you for all your help. If it does end up working, can you please post it there? I'm so very thankful.

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Here's the g(x) graphic.

Thank you very much!
