The space allowed for the mascot on a school’s Web page is 120 pixels wide by 90 pixels high. Its digital image is 500 pixels wide by 375 pixels high. What is the largest image of the mascot that will fit on the Web page?

try dividing width by width and height by height... choose the smaller number as a scale factor.

so 500 divided by 120 and 375 divided by 90?

divide 120 by 500 and 90 by 375 then multiply both height and width by the smaller number you get :) or at least i think that is how you do it... that is how i would solve it.

@csscgirl what do you mean multiply the height and the width? and after dividing it all I got 0.24 for both

multiply both 500 and 375 by that... and then that i think is the answer, but idk for sure...

if you do that then you get the same numbers as the question asks.
