you are probably talking about percentages? as in 20% off! This is how i'v always done it, if a product is 20% off I do this: (imagine the product costs 3.4) 3.4 x 0.2 (which is 20%) = 0.68 <--------- That is 20% of the 3.4 Now we want to take that OFF the main price, so we do this: 3.4 - 0.68 = 2.72 So, 20% off a product that costs 3.4 is 2.72! If you need more examples or explanations, just say
