I just need help with brainstorming some ideassss... I'm supposed to write 5 paragraphs over this :P

Choose one: symbolism or irony, and discuss how Wilde used the literary element as a way to satirize the wealthy in the play, The Importance of Being Earnest.

well the essay wants me to discuss the use of satire against the wealthy. throughout the play, food is present whenever a conflict will be and the wealthy use food in inconsiderate ways to express their emotions.

then yeah i would use food for your symbol. that would be the most logistic and deff the easiest.(:
