|dw:1389996863054:dw|Okay so if James lives 1(1/5) miles away, that is the same as saying he lives (6/5) miles away. A. We can compare them by seeing that James travels over 1 mile, and Crystal travels less than one mile, so James's distance is greater. B. We know that James's distance is longer because (6/5) is greater than (3/5), to find how much longer James's distance is, we subtract the two distances, and we get (3/5) as our answer.
