Which of the following is a zero of the function graphed below?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6 1 -6 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x= -1, x=0.5, x=2.5 would be your zeros because zeros are the values of the function that touch the x-axis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are the answers given for this question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6, 1, -6, 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Those are the answers given?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup.... :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so out of 6,1,6 and 2, the function crosses the value of 2 on the x-axis. My mistake, I misread the graph. The function does cross at 2 and not 2.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay so 2 is the answer? THANK YOU SO MUCH. That makes sense (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, answer is 2. You're very welcome :)
