can u guys plz help me w this question plz?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do u think the answer is...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u even know what this means: the corresponding sides are proportional.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i am not being mean just saying

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its B, because when you divide DC with HG numerically, you get 1.5, which when you multiply with BC, is not so, its 36*1.5 = 54, so it isnt similar.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol, ik, and does it mean that they r kindof simillar?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is b but u need to let him try

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, i understand it now, thank u so much mathbreaker

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see ... all rectangles are not similar .... only if the ratios of the sides of the rectangles match they are similar see in the first figure ie the big rectangle the ratio to its sides are 52/30=1.733333... and in the second figure you get the ratio of its sided to be 36/20=1.8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hehe, im a her

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry....=( i kind knew that bc it said mahone but nvm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

read this http://www.icoachmath.com/math_dictionary/corresponding_sides.html

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok, and alright

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u guys r awesome, i understand it much better

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx u too!! =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u know what i am helping three PEEPS...AAHHHH!!
