rectangle has length 9.3 x 10 2 squared cm and width 8.4 x 10 2 squared cm. What is the area of the rectangle?

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

Area is length times width. What is the length? What is the width? What is the product of these two values, that is what is length times width: \( l\times w\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Question is wrong i think, length cant be in terms of area :P But, if youre talking about 9.3x8.4 then just multiply those two.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

that's right, length has units of cm, meters, feet, etc, area has units of square cm, square meters, square feet. You should check the problem like @Mathbreaker suggests

thx
