Determine values for a and b such that 7/2 is a solution of the equation ax+ b= 0

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

ax+b=0 means: |dw:1390073081140:dw| Which is a flat line going through the origin. Then b=0 and a, which is the slope, is also 0. If you want ax+b=7/2, this can not happen because the line ever goes above y=0. Maybe your question is find a and b such that ax+b=7/2 ? We would need to the value of x where this equation is valid and another point on the line.

i never thought of it being a straight line. i knew the equation looked familiar
