the renaissance "the rebirth" was a cultural movement that started in the Late Middle Ages in Italy and spread to the rest of Europe. Humanism evolved, as humanism evolved, there were more humanists everyday and they brought out of the dark five humanity studies : poetry, history, philosophy, art and grammar. Many of the most legendary art works were created during the Renaissance including the Monalisa, Creation of Adam, and the Leonardo DaVinci Self-Portrait. In science the subject of human anatomy was becoming popular. The renaissance was also an era where people turned against Christianity, especially humanists.
