Hello guys I am new to programming and this site. I am wondering if anyone if working in groups? If so can i join and add to my learning experience. Thanking you in advance!

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Well, there are regular groups of people that go through chinks of the MIT intro to comp sci. Lot of independent learners. However, the good news is there are a reasonable number of people that can explain concepts you do not get and can help with debugging mistakes in the basics you will do.

Codeacademy.com and https://dash.generalassemb.ly/projects are both amazing sites to help learn and pick up the basics of coding.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

I found Codeacademy.com to be a bit of a mixed thing. It starts out OK, but the quality goes down. Some of the ways people have decided should be taught there are not the greatest choices. Also, there are some things that can be done several ways, but if you do not use the authors wy it can tell you that you are wrong even if you are right.
