What is the common ratio for the sequence 5, -10, 20, -40, ...? -2 -1/2 1/2 2
What number do you have to multiply the first number by to get the second number? Or in other words what is the second number divided by the first number?
Dear Paris Girl, You must enjoy these discussions on Open Study, and I'm happy about that. I do wonder, however, why you don't review what you learned from the previous problems you've posted and see if you can now solve them by yourself? Independence is worth striving for. :)
im checking my answers @mathmale
Ask yourself: What do I have to do to get from 5 to -10? The number involved here is your "common ratio.'
if u dont like it than block me @mathmale
What a shame you feel the need to respond in that manner. What I said earlier was with the best of intentions. Nevertheless I am sorry that you're upset.
And my next-to-last question (above) was intended to help you solve this latest question.

So be it. Perhaps others on Open Study can help you without getting you all upset. Sorry. Good night.
