the sides of a triangle are 80,100, and 140 cm. determine the radius of the circumscribing circle. my answer is 71.44 cm is it correct? please help me thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The radius is 24.49 cm.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get 24.49? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the formula is r= abc all over 4 times the square root of of s (s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The formula is square root of (s-a)(s-b)(s-c) all over s. That's what I used.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

s = 160 When you substitute that, you'll get sq. root of 600 which is 24.49 cm... :))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Still, I'm not sure... :))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh it's okay thank you :)
