HELP WILL REWARD!! Television changed the nature of political communication because it - A. It made other forms of media like newspapers and the radio obsolete in terms of spreading a message. B. It gave the public audience the ability to see what officials looked like and see the effects of their actions. C. It caused people to spend more time consuming entertainment programming rather than political events. D. It led to the creation of regulatory agencies that prevent news stations from taping public officials' speeches.
It is not A that is for sure because when the T.V came it was very expensive and people read the newspaper and the radio for many years after the T.V. I honestly believe it is B because people were able to see what politicians looked like and were able to see the face expressions of those who spoke and were able to almost make a deeper connections with those in government. Also when wars came around the T.V really showed the consequences of politicians actions sending the troops to war, that is why today their are laws about the public expose of things that happen on the war front. Now that I write this the answer is defiantly B!
