OpenStudy (phi):

there are 100 cents in a dollar, a century is 100 years.... cent and century come from the Latin for 100 You should try to learn this in 30 % the "%" is short for "per cent" which is Latin for "per one hundred" so when you see 30% read it as 30 per 100

OpenStudy (grace111):

Plzzz help this is in for tomz :(

OpenStudy (phi):

another way to write 30 per 100 is 30/100

OpenStudy (grace111):

oh thank you :)

OpenStudy (phi):

to change 0.5 to a percent first write it as 5/10 (0.5 means 5/10) then make the bottom 100 by multiplying it by 10 . To keep things the same, you also multiply the top by 10 you get 50/100 now you should know that 50/100 is another way to write 50 per 100 or 50 %

OpenStudy (grace111):

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH :D
