See. your Question needs graphical explanation as well as the knowledge of functions. 1. If you want to solve it by graph, It's okey, even it's amazing :) (Just different from other :P ) So, let's solve. your problem equetion was 3(x^4)-5=y (Let it be :) ) so, if x=-2 y=43 x=-1, y=-2 x=0, y=-5 x= 1, y= -2 x=2, y=43 Plot the graph between the x and y values got. you will see that graph starts high and ends high. 2.in the given equation we have x^4 , which is odd function. It's graph goes high and ends high. :) Enjoy :D
