How many sig figs are in the following measurments? A. 0.7565g B. 204L C. 0.0767mi D. 1050ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A: 4 B: 3 C: 4 D: 4 I'm pretty sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sig figs are the significant numbers. in A the zero before the decimal isn't significant, so it is not counted.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In D the last zero is significant because there is not a decimal before it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c and d are also three

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C is 4 because the zero after the decimal and before 7 is significant, if you got rid of it it would change the value.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D is four because if you take the last zero out it changes the value. if it was 105.0 instead of 1050 it would be 3
