Please show your work. I already gave you one for free. Parallel Lines cut by a Transversal? Corresponding Angles? Go!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Please show your work. You CANNOT have no idea. You must have SOME idea what to do. What section are you studying? What class are you in? Is this a placement exam? I don't believe you can provide no effort at all. Please show your work.

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

Don't just expect us to give you the answers, show your work, and if you mess up we will guide you on the specific area where you had trouble.

There are many ways to present problems. It is impossible to tell the differences concerning your motives unless you prove it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Here are a few helpful ways: I am in this section entitled _________, and I did this problem OK, but I can't get this one. It's seems different from the one I got right. I was given this information and this other information. I don't see how they relate to the problem statement. I tried _______, but it didn't seem to be getting me anywhere. I keep getting this problem wrong. Here's what I did. __________________ The book says it's something else. What am I missing? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- These are some unhelpful ways: Math sucks. Can anyone do this stinking problem? Please solve this problem and provide step-by-step, complete instructions. Seriously?! I have no clue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary: You can SAY what your motives are, but this is mathematics. Rumor and innuendo are not sufficient. Prove it. Prove you understand SOMETHING. Prove you are in the right class. PROVE that you're not just trying to get someone to do your homework. Side Note: If you really want to control the engagement, dictate teaching methods, decide where and when you need a lecture, you really should consider a paid local tutor. Surely you can find one to your liking. My views. I welcome others'.
