(1-y^3+2y^5)-(2+y^3-y^5)
for my answer i got y^5 is that correct?
Combine like terms:
2y^5-(-y^5) = 2y^5+y^5= 3y^5
(-y^3)-(+y^3) = (-y^3)-(y^3)=-2y^3; 1-2=-1
