OpenStudy (anonymous):

N=Q+8/Q for Q

OpenStudy (ajprincess):

is it (Q+8)/Q?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (ajprincess):

multiply both sides of the equations by Q and pls tell me what u get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right now i have QN=Q+8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So i should subtract 8 but what should i do with the Qs on both sides of the equal sign

OpenStudy (ajprincess):

gud:) Nw subtract Q from both sides and pls tell me what u get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

QN-8-Q=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That doesn't look right

OpenStudy (ajprincess):

keep 8 on the right side of the equation. if u do so u will have QN-Q=8 nw factor out Q from QN-Q

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok that makes more sense i got Q(N-1)=8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then i should divide N-1 from 8

OpenStudy (ajprincess):

gud:) now divide both sides by N-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Q=8/N-1

OpenStudy (ajprincess):

yup:) nw u have solved the equation for Q

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you for your help :)

OpenStudy (ajprincess):

u r welcome:)
