I need help with coordinates please. Triangle DOG is transformed using a reflection. Triangle DOG is shown. D is at 0, 0, O is at 1, 2, G is at negative 1, 4. Which could be coordinates of D'O'G' after the reflection? D=(0,0), O=(-1,-2), G=(1,4) D=(0,0), O=(-1,-2), G=(1,-4) D=(0,0), O=(-2, 1), G=(-1, -4) D=(0,0), O=(-1,2), G=(1,4)

Okay well if the reflection is over the x-axis you have to do (x, y) ---> (x,-y) and over the y-axis you would have to do (-x,y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now see which of those coordinates when followed all the way through of either x or y would give the correct the coordinates :)

OpenStudy (avai70178):

Thank you!

@yeamraz I know this was 8 months ago but can you help me with the same problem i don't understand the (x,y) stuff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well you gotta plot these points and see where it could be reflected:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@yeamraz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly Lyn:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur good at this

Thanks :)
