f the outliers are not included, what is the mean of the data set? 72, 82, 3, 55, 62, 73, 90, 80, 151, 59, 46, 31 59 65 67 73

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

@SolomonZelman @Maria531 @nannaberry @alakara_kibo

OpenStudy (austinl):

Mean is simply the average yeah? Calculate the average. Disregarding the outliers evidently.

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

I did that but i never got a good answer the out liers i have so far: 3, 152...is 90 also an out lier?

OpenStudy (austinl):

I would say that you only have two outliers with this set of numbers.

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

so 3 and 152 right?

OpenStudy (austinl):

I would say so :)

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

ok thanks austin!

OpenStudy (austinl):
