Started off as friends then you became my crush
Day after day you still never fail to make me blush.
Since our beginning I've gotten to know
An AHHmazing person with a special glow
That always lights up my day whether rain or shine
Constantly reminding me I’m yours& you are mine.

Yes, it’s you that is often on my mind
&even before there was an US
I was searching, looking. Trying to find
MY special someone. At times I grew weary& thought of giving up
But then it was more than a crush or a like. Perhaps just becoming a love <3

It’s like a message was sent from above
To let me know there IS someone like you.
Everything I could ever want& more.
I already gave God The Key but now
All I had to do was open up the door
To my heart. When I let you in,
You started stealing parts.
At 1st, I didn't realize it& I didn't know
You had become a thief in a good way though.

I have been deeply hurt before.
Pieces of my heart shattered& broken.
This I had become accustom to
Feelings locked inside, words forever left unspoken.
Even with this knowledge, you didn't ignore
How I felt now, later& especially before.
You were completely willing to
Help mend it back together,
With the tools God supplied.
You would not give up in this endeavor.

I began to notice,
You’re here to stay
You’ll never leave

Even if you become &stay as just my bestie
You’ll always have a place. No one can replace.
We will still be forever& always, making memories.
