for f(x)=1/x-5 and g(x)=x^2+2, find the expression for g(x). Does anybody know what they're asking and how to solve this/what the answer would be? I'm a little confused!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do they want you to take f( g(x) )? That is to say, f(x), where x = (g(x))? It would look like (fºg)(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They do for the second one but the first one just says find the expression for g(x)! @larryboxaplenty

"g(x)=x^2+2, find the expression for g(x)" Easiest question ever.
