f(n-1) + (n-2) f(1)=2 and f(2)= 3 plug in 3 for n like so, f(3-1) + (3-2) then you have f(2)+f(1) and if you look at the given information you see that you can plug in for f(1) and f(2). If you do that you get the next number in the sequence 5. If you plug in 4 to the equation you will get the next sequence. Hope this helps.
