for medal: when solving 2cos(-1) sin(-1)^2, is the mode Degree or Radian on the calculator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Radian, due to -1 degrees not making much sense.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so there is such a thing as -1 rad?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mt math teacher told me to use degree mode when solving sinx=-1/4, and i'm wondering if i should also use degree mode in the question above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Preference, degrees are easier, radians will give you the answer in n/pi rads

If your teacher wants you to use degrees, use degrees.
