Write a rational function with a vertical asymptote x=5 and horizontal asymptote of y=1/2.

The function I wrote is f(x)=2x^2/(x^2-25)

Pretty close. Move the factor 2 to the denominator.

The word "factor" suggests multiplication. Don't think about addition when you talk about factors.
