Car crashes take up a lot of taxpayers money. So, if it was a mandatory law, there would most likely be a slight decrease in crashes. Crashes don't come from just people who don't have seatbelts, there is a whole lot more things out there that would cause a person to crash, drinking, deer, just to name a few.

Lots of tax payers money has been taken by car crashes. So, if it was a mandatory law, there would most likely be a slight decrease in crashes. Crashes don't come from just people who don't have seat belts, there is a whole lot more things out there that would cause a person to crash,drugs or drinking, animals or pedestrians jumping in front of the  car, these are just a couple things that cause crashes.

Seat belts do not cause CAR CRASHES; I really hope you did not write that they do. Not wearing a seat belt causes fatalities in crashes, not the crashes themselves; therefore creating and enforcing seat belt laws will not reduce crashes, but deaths by car accidents, but alright..
