**MY ANSWER**:
Girls in Spartan were trained in sports. Women lived at home while their husbands were in the army. Therefore, they could own land, and go anywhere they wanted.
Athenian girls stayed home. Their mothers taught them household duties. When married, women stayed at home to teach their daughters/do housework.

Sparta girls were trained in the school of their sisterhood, they were taught physical education. They took a fitness test at the age of 18-20 and were then assigned to a husband and allowed home. Athenian women had a little freedom, they were only allowed to leave the house to attend weddings, funerals, and some religious festivals. Women lived in a special section of the house called the gynaeceum
