Find the domain of log ( |x^2-16| ) base 0.3 or rewritten as log ( |x^2-16| ) / log (0.3) . Write the answer as interval notation.

Wouldn't the domain just be the reals? Anything you through into the absolute value will come out as positive. And I believe x > 0 is the only restriction a log has.

Nevermind. I forgot that it also can't equal zero inside a log. so npv -/+ 4
