Using the issue, I will have to write to convince the reader why it's a violation of an individuals civil rights, and how it can be corrected.

Maybe the fact that minorities are given special treatment under the name of "racial equality". My friend recently applied for the air force academy and was told that he would have to wait a few more months, even though they liked him a lot. He was then told that if he was a minority, he would have been accepted a lot sooner. There are more things like this than just getting accepted into the air force academy, but I'm too lazy to do further research to refresh my memory.
