how do you make y=-3x+5 into ax+by=c form

OpenStudy (marigirl):

there are multiple ways to this.. if you want a coefficient in front of y then wht we can do is multiply the whole equation by 2 2y=-6x+10 and now we can add 6x to both sides 2y+6x=10

OpenStudy (marigirl):

note we dont always HAVE to multiply the equation by 2, we can multiply by any number

Thank you marigirl
